Crane-Assisted Tree Removal
When access is impossible, the crane is the answer.
Overview
Some trees can't be safely climbed, roped, or dropped β they're too tall, too dead, too close to a roof, or wedged between a pool, a deck, and a neighbor's fence. A crane removes the problem in lifts, not in pieces.
Crane-assisted removal is the safest, fastest, and most surgical way to take down a large or compromised tree near structures. Instead of rigging weight through the canopy and lowering it on ropes, a 60-ton crane picks each section directly and walks it to a clear staging area β eliminating the loads on the remaining trunk that cause uncontrolled failure.
We use cranes for residential takedowns near homes, garages, pools, and pavers, and for commercial work on HOAs, office parks, schools, and municipal sites where downtime, liability, and access windows matter. A job that would take a climbing crew three days is typically completed in one β with less ground disturbance and lower overall risk.

What's included
Every job, completely.
- 60-ton crane for residential and commercial sites
- Reaches over homes, fences, and tight side yards
- Faster takedowns β most jobs completed in a single day
- Reduces ground impact and rigging stress on weak trunks
- Insurance-friendly approach for trees on or near structures
- Available for storm-damaged, dead, and hazardous trees
Our Process
Measured. Methodical. Documented.
Site survey
We confirm crane access, swing radius, and outrigger placement, and pre-clear staging.
Engineer the lift
Each pick is weighed, rigged, and sequenced β no improvisation in the air.
Lift & lower
Sections are picked from the canopy and walked to the chipping zone, not dropped.
Restore
Ground protection pulled, lawn raked, surfaces blown clean. Stump optional.
Frequently asked
Questions, answered.
When do you recommend a crane?+
For trees over homes, dead or storm-compromised trees, tight commercial sites with no climb path, and any job where dropping or rigging creates more risk than picking.
Will the crane damage my lawn or driveway?+
We set on crane mats and plywood, and the outriggers spread the load. Most jobs leave no visible footprint after cleanup.
Is crane work more expensive?+
Per hour, yes β but a crane often finishes in a fraction of the time of a climbing-only crew, and the reduced risk to your structures usually offsets the cost.
Do you handle commercial crane work?+
Yes β we work with property managers, HOAs, municipalities, and corporate campuses. COIs are issued directly from our carrier.
